The Dualtron Thunder 3 is a dual-motor electric scooter delivering 7200W of nominal power, driven by a 72V 42.4Ah 3053Wh battery for an advertised range of 120km. With DGT certification, it is built for long daily commutes as well as private track riding.

Motor and battery

The scooter is equipped with a dual motor producing a nominal output of 7200W and a peak output of 8400W, reaching up to a turbo maximum of 10920W via a dedicated handlebar button. It features two 50A controllers (65A in turbo mode). Power is supplied by a 72V 42.4Ah 3053Wh battery, fitted with Samsung or LG cells depending on the batch.

Performance and range

The manufacturer states a range of 120km. FōhzShop estimates realistic range at 90km in speed-limited mode and 60km at full power. Delivered limited to 25km/h, its derestricted top speed exceeds 100km/h on private tracks.

Brakes, suspension and tyres

Braking is handled by a 4-piston NUTT hydraulic system with 160mm discs (1.6mm thickness, 48mm bolt spacing). It features cartridge suspension. The 11-inch wheels use Naputun 90/65 R6.5 tubeless road tyres fitted with puncture-prevention sealant.

Chassis and dimensions

It weighs 53kg and accommodates a maximum payload of 120kg. The chassis is IPX6 certified, while the display carries an IPX7 rating. Unfolded, it measures 1270mm in length, 700mm in width and 1355mm in height; folded, it measures 1270mm in length, 320mm in width and 590mm in height.

Charging and equipment

A 5A fast charger is supplied for an 8h recharge (21h with a standard 2A charger). The maximum supported current is 20A in total and 10A per port. These limits must not be exceeded to prevent port damage. It comes with an ey4 display and connects to the Minimotors and EyeX apps. The scooter is equipped with a horn, front headlight, rear light, brake light and indicators.

Safety

High-speed stability is enhanced by a steering damper. The scooter can be locked via the mobile app or with a PIN code. It does not include an alarm, CBS, GPS tracker or traction control.

Road legality

This model complies with European and French PLEV regulations. It comes factory-limited to 25km/h and carries CE marking. It is fitted with a headlight, rear light, brake light, indicators and a horn.

DGT certification

The scooter holds official certification from the Dirección General de Tráfico (Spain).

Warranty and after-sales service

The warranty covers 24 months for the scooter and 12 months for the battery. FōhzShop after-sales support is available 7 days a week, in French, with an expert technician.

Riding in wet conditions is made possible by water-resistant sealing, but water ingress or moisture-related damage is not covered by the warranty.
