Description
The Rovoron R5 is a versatile dual-motor electric scooter. It delivers up to 2957W of peak power and reaches 65km/h on private land. Its 60V 20.8Ah battery with 1248Wh provides up to 75km of range. It comes limited to 25km/h out of the box, is DGT approved, and suits daily commutes as well as long-distance rides.
Motor and battery
The R5 features dual motors delivering 2640W nominal and 2957W peak power. This output ensures brisk acceleration and tackles steep climbs easily. It is driven by dual 22A controllers. Its 60V 20.8Ah battery has a capacity of 1248Wh and uses CN cells.
Performance and range
It reaches 65km/h on private land. It comes factory-limited to 25km/h. Manufacturer range is rated at 75km. Our extensive real-world tests show 65km in capped mode and 35km at full power.
Braking, suspension and tyres
It comes equipped with mechanical disc brakes featuring 160mm discs. The discs are 1.6mm thick with a 44mm bolt pattern. Its spring suspension system absorbs road bumps and keeps the scooter stable. Its 10-inch tyres are Minimotors pneumatic tyres with inner tubes in 10x3.0 size, featuring a road tread profile.
Frame and dimensions
It weighs 40.8kg and supports a maximum load of 120kg. Water resistance is certified IPX6 for the chassis and IPX7 for the display. Unfolded, it measures 1280mm long, 600mm wide and 1370mm high. Folded, it measures 1280mm long, 600mm wide and 603mm high.
Charging and equipment
The 2A charger tops up the battery in 10h. It supports up to 20A in total and 10A per charge port. These limits must not be exceeded to prevent port damage. It features an Ey3 Connect display and connects to the Minimotors and EyeX apps, available on iOS and Android. It comes equipped with a front headlight, rear light, brake light, indicators and a horn.
Safety
Locking is handled via the app or PIN code. It does not include a steering damper, alarm, GPS tracker or traction control.
Road legality
This model complies with UK and European regulations for PLEVs. It comes factory-limited to 25km/h and carries CE certification. It is equipped with a front headlight, rear light, brake light, indicators and a horn.
DGT approval
This model is certified by the DGT, the Dirección General de Tráfico, which is the Spanish traffic authority.

Points to note
Manufacturer range is measured under ideal conditions. Our test figures come from rigorous testing and are intentionally realistic. Actual range depends on rider weight, temperature, battery level and riding style. Unrestricted speed is an indicative figure, intentionally conservative, and valid only on private land. Riding in light rain is possible thanks to water resistance, but water damage or moisture ingress is not covered by the warranty.
